What does “added fiber” mean and what does it offer?

Why can AXA porridges be cooked so quickly and easily?

Wholemeal and instant oatmeal flakes are produced from whole and refined oatmeal grains by first being steamed, then flattened and finally dried. During the production procedure of instant oatmeal flakes, the grain is cut into finer pieces (3-4 pieces) and flattened. This is why the porridge rises faster and required less boiling, but the grains maintain their healthy properties.
