The women’s floorball team “FK Ķekava/AXA” is enjoying great success this season and currently stands in second place in the women’s top division. The players from Ķekava recently made headlines by defeating the six-time Latvian champions “Rubene”. The goal of “FK Ķekava/AXA” this season is to fight for a medal, possibly even gold. more

Kristīne Kārkliņa, one of the best basketball players in Latvia, has been chosen to be the healthy nutrition messenger who, together with AXA and Rīgas Dzirnavnieks, will be educating children and young people about wholesome nutrition throughout the entire season.

AXA Supports Football Club “Jelgava”
JSC “Rīgas Dzirnavnieks” has become the sponsor of Latvian Football Championship LMT Latvian Higher League debutant FK “Jelgava” for the 2010 season. Along with supporting the team, JSC “Rīgas Dzirnavnieks” has also started cooperation with Youth Football Centre “Jelgava”, where 300 children and teenagers of all age play football. The initiated cooperation also includes education for youth concerning the meaning of a healthy lifestyle.
